UKOOA Sustainability Strategy 2002 - First Report 1. Economic Sustainability 1.2 Maximising mutual benefit with supply chain   Commitment No. 10 - Supply chain champions "This initiative aims at addressing the different business climates of operators and the supply chain: - the appropriateness of agreements reached at a time of low oil price, for example. We commit to identify and appoint individuals within out companies as supply chain champions to act as points of contact for resolution of supply chain difficulties and discussion of the common issues." Progress to date : achievements and difficulties encountered A Supply Chain Code of Practice (CoP) has been developed within the Progressing Partnership Work Group of PILOT during 2001 and the signatories to this CoP will become the Supply Chain Champions. They are available to address queries which arise concerning the performance of their companies in matters covered by the Code.
