Commitment No. 9 - Supply chain management
"We will support the provision of Supply Chain Management (SCM) seminars, SCM assessments of individual company supply chains and the delivery of a tailored SCM consultancy service to trading partners."

Progress to date : achievements and difficulties encountered
This is a prime function of LOGIC and a programme of workshops, seminars and SCM assessments has been established by LOGIC's management, within targets set by its board which includes two of UKOOA's Executive Officers. The performance of the supply chain is fundamental to the performance of the industry, both in the UK and overseas. During 2001, more than 120 companies took part in the workshops. In April 2002, a "Share Fair" took place in Aberdeen at which operators shared their future investment plans with suppliers and contractors; over 500 people attended. A further such event is planned later in 2002.
Please see Commitment No. 63 regarding the suite of standard contracts which were created as part of the CRINE initiative and now come under LOGIC's auspices.
